This project started with a broken fallow deer antler, a symbol of pride lost in an accident.

Using parametric modelling and 3D printing, I aimed to create a juncture between the broken antler halves, restoring pride.

My final juncture design encompasses a slow story of growth and regeneration. As the spongy bone marrow webs across the joint, blood cells flow with richness once more. The ‘marrow’ reunites the antler halves on a pedestal for all to see, paying tribute to the wounds of the mighty fallow deer.
